MED BALL SLAMS
Med Ball Slams are great for overall conditioning. They incorporate cardiovascular conditioning, upper body psychometric training, core work, and power and strength training into one simple exercise.
Abs, deltoids (shoulders), biceps and triceps (arms), lats (upper back), glutes (hips), quads, hamstrings, and calves (legs)
Medicine ball (preferably non bouncing), slam ball, or alternatively, a sandbell
- Starting with the ball on the ground in front of you.
- Bend at the knees keeping the back nice and straight.
- Lift with the quadriceps.
- Reach the ball overhead and throw as hard as you can down in front of you.
